Rescue teams in a flooded cave in Laos said on May 26 they are working to pump out water to free five people trapped for more than a week and search for two others still missing. The cave, in a remote area of Xieng Khouang Province, was flooded by heavy rain on May 18 when seven people entered to collect forest products. Five trapped individuals have been in contact by phone, while rescuers race against time before more rain.
