The United States and Iran are close to finalizing a single-page, 14-point memorandum aimed at officially ending regional hostilities, with Pakistan acting as mediator. The memo is expected to pave the way for talks on Hormuz shipping, sanctions relief, and Iran's nuclear program.

Two sources close to the matter said the United States and Iran are nearing the completion of a single-page, 14-point memorandum intended to formally end the war in the region, according to Reuters.
“We will wrap this up very soon. We are getting close,” a source from Pakistan, which is currently mediating between the two countries, said.
The one-page, 14-point memorandum is expected to formally end hostilities, followed by negotiations on shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, the lifting of U.S. sanctions on Iran, and discussions about Iran’s nuclear program.
