General Eyal Zamir, Israel's military chief of staff, said during a visit to southern Lebanon that Israel has a historic opportunity to change the regional dynamic after launching operations against Hezbollah. He also warned that new targets in Iran are prepared for potential strikes.

Israel's military chief of staff, General Eyal Zamir, conducted a tour of southern Lebanon on March 24 and affirmed that Israeli forces continue operations against the armed group Hezbollah. In a statement on Telegram, Zamir said more than 2,000 Hezbollah members have been killed since the campaign began in early March, emphasizing that Israeli soldiers remain committed to dismantling the group.
“We have a historic opportunity to change the reality of the region in a multi-front campaign. Cooperation and coordination with the U.S. military continue, and we are closely monitoring the situation,” Zamir stated.
He added a further warning: “In Iran, we have an additional set of targets ready to be struck. We are on high alert to return to a powerful and broad campaign, which will allow us to deepen our achievements and further weaken the Iranian regime.”
