Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the attack, stating that he and Defense Minister Israel Katz had ordered the military to carry out the operation.
“The Radwan terrorists are responsible for firing at Israeli settlements and harming IDF soldiers. No terrorist has immunity – Israel's long arm will reach every enemy and murderer,” Netanyahu wrote on Telegram.
“We promised to bring security to the residents of the north – this is how we do it and will continue to do so!” he added.
