Gharibabadi: US Cannot Use Verbal Tricks to Legitimize Military Action

On April 1, Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, criticized U.S. statements regarding the use of force or military threats against Iran. According to him, Washington cannot resort to verbal tricks or wordplay to legitimize military action or violate international law.

The Iranian spokesman emphasized that any act of aggression will face a firm and appropriate response from Tehran. He also reaffirmed that Iran's armed forces remain fully prepared to safeguard national security and retaliate against any action targeting the country's interests.

These remarks followed reports that the U.S. administration is attempting to alter diplomatic document interpretations to serve military objectives. Iran views this as a dangerous effort and a blatant violation of the principles of the United Nations Charter.
