The Minister of Economy has instructed relevant agencies to speed up the handling of projects funded by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB). The move is aimed at clearing bottlenecks, ensuring disbursement progress, and improving the efficiency of investment capital use.
According to information from a meeting, the Minister stressed the importance of close coordination among ministries, sectors, and localities to promptly resolve difficulties during project implementation. IsDB-funded projects typically involve infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and community development, contributing to socio-economic growth.
The Minister asked for a full review of the project portfolio, a clear identification of the causes of delays, and specific proposed solutions. At the same time, monitoring and progress evaluation should be strengthened, with regular reporting to ensure projects are carried out according to plan.
Advancing the handling of IsDB projects is expected to help attract more ODA and concessional loan capital, contributing to infrastructure development and improved living standards.
