Daiwa Securities: Data of About 110,000 Customers May Have Leaked in Unauthorized Access Incident
Daiwa Securities Group said Monday that data on about 110,000 customers of its brokerage unit, plus other non-personal information, may have been exposed through unauthorized access to a contractor-operated server. The group said it is still investigating the scope of the incident and has not disclosed specific losses beyond the estimated number of affected customers.
