6 Iranian Universities Ranked Among Shanghai Top 1,000
Six Iranian universities have been placed in the top 1,000 of the 2024 Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), up from five in 2023. Tehran University leads the Iranian institutions in the 301-400 band, while the new entrant, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, ranks in the 801-900 group.
