Jetstar to Charge Passengers for Overhead Cabin Baggage Space
Jetstar, Australia's low-cost carrier, will charge passengers for overhead cabin baggage space starting February 2027 to address overcrowding and reduce boarding delays. Passengers can still bring one small bag for free, but using overhead lockers will incur a fee. The airline says the move aims to lower base fares for light travelers and improve fairness.
