Princess Kako Calls for Greater Understanding of Hearing Loss
Princess Kako of Japan has urged greater public understanding of hearing loss at a national welfare conference in Kyoto. She voiced hope for a society where everyone can communicate with confidence and stressed the need for an environment that lets people with hearing impairments take full part in community life.
