Two Americans fined 300,000 yen each for breaking into Punch the monkey's enclosure in Japan
A Japanese court fined two US citizens 300,000 yen each for illegally entering the enclosure of Punch, a famous Japanese macaque known for hugging an orangutan stuffed toy at a zoo near Tokyo. The men climbed barriers and entered the monkey area, posing a safety risk. Zoo management detected the trespass and reported it to authorities.
