Close Advisor to Latin America's Right-Wing Leaders Arrested for Allegedly Plotting Girlfriend's Murder
Fernando Cerimedo, a 42-year-old political consultant to right-wing leaders across Latin America, was arrested in Bolivia on suspicion of plotting the shooting of his girlfriend, lawyer Nadia Beller. Beller survived the attack, which police believe stemmed from a personal dispute, while Cerimedo's lawyer denies the charges.
