Breaking the Fourth Wall: 'Mother of Assassins' Hijacks New Trailer for 'The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage'
The fall anime 'The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a Second Lease on Life' (Chi-Fuyo) has dropped its main promotional video ahead of its October 6 premiere, and it comes with a twist: comedian Rie Shibata, the voice of the 'Mother of Assassins,' hijacks the trailer's narration for a special comedic preview. The fourth-wall-breaking move teases her character's role in the series.
