Figure Skating: Kagiyama Aims to Rekindle Fire for Third Olympics

Japanese figure skater Yuma Kagiyama, a two-time Olympic silver medalist in the men's singles event, is targeting a third Winter Olympics in 2030. He will spend an entire season away from competitive skating.

The break is seen as a period for Kagiyama to rediscover his motivation and passion for the sport, after a long stretch defined by the pressure and demands of competing at the highest level.

With two Olympic silver medals to his name, Kagiyama remains one of the standout figures in men's figure skating. His goal of returning to the Olympics in 2030 signals that he has not closed the book on his elite competitive career.
