French President Emmanuel Macron today condemned Iran's attacks on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as “unjustified and unacceptable.”
“As it has done since the beginning of the conflict, France will continue to support its allies in the UAE and the region to defend their territory,” Macron declared, emphasizing Paris's support for its Gulf partners.
The French leader called for a lasting solution, arguing that this requires reopening the Strait of Hormuz and achieving “a strong agreement providing the necessary security guarantees for regional countries.”
Macron also voiced concern over Iran's nuclear activities, ballistic missile capabilities, and actions in the region.
