On May 3, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel warned that US military threats have escalated to an unprecedented level. On his personal account on social media platform X, Diaz-Canel criticized the US president for intensifying military aggression threats against Cuba to a dangerous and unprecedented degree.
The Cuban leader called on the international community to pay attention to the situation and, together with the United States, to decide whether to allow a small, wealthy, and influential group, driven by hatred and ambition for domination, to commit extreme criminal acts.
“No invader, no matter how powerful, will find surrender in Cuba,” Diaz-Canel emphasized. “It will face a people determined to defend their sovereignty and independence on every centimeter of national territory,” he added.
