Iran's top general warns a new war would spread across the region

According to Reuters, Iran's Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces has warned that if a new war breaks out, the conflict will not remain limited to Iran but will spread across the region.

The remarks come as tensions between Iran and its regional rivals continue to rise. He stressed that any military action against Iran would carry consequences beyond the country's borders.

Iranian officials frequently warn of the risk of wider conflict in the Middle East, where several flashpoints exist side by side, including the Israel-Hamas conflict, tensions in the Red Sea, and indirect confrontations between Iran and the West.

There has been no official response so far from the parties concerned to the latest statement.
