Japanese forward Keito Nakamura has officially become a new signing for Olympique Lyonnais on a four-year contract. The French club confirmed the news on Wednesday (local time), after completing the transfer from Stade de Reims – a team currently playing in France's second division.
Joining Lyon marks a new step in Nakamura's career, who previously spent time playing at Reims. With experience playing in Europe, the winger, born in 2000, is expected to bring attacking energy to the Groupama Stadium side's frontline.
The four-year deal underscores Lyon's management's confidence in Nakamura's talent. He will be one of the key figures in the club's squad rebuilding plans as they aim to compete in domestic and continental competitions.
