NEW DELHI – The Indian cargo vessel MT Sarv Shakti, flagged in the Marshall Islands and carrying Indian-owned goods, has safely transited the Strait of Hormuz, according to the ANI news agency. The ship is scheduled to reach India in mid-May.
ANI reported that the MT Sarv Shakti is carrying 46,313 tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas and has 20 crew members on board, 18 of whom are Indian nationals. The vessel passed through the strategic Strait of Hormuz on May 2 and is expected to dock at Visakhapatnam port on May 13.
