Armed hijackers seize oil tanker off Yemen

Yemen’s Coast Guard forces reported that the oil tanker M/T EUREKA was attacked and seized by armed assailants in waters off Shabwa province.

Early information indicates the attackers boarded the vessel, overpowered the crew, and redirected the tanker toward the Gulf of Aden, heading for the Somali coast.

Authorities have located the vessel and are taking measures to ensure the safety of the crew members.
