The incident occurred in the station's platform area, where the steel plate unexpectedly fell onto the tracks below. Station staff quickly detected and handled the situation, ensuring the safety of passengers and the continuity of operations.
A JR West spokesperson confirmed there were no reports of injuries or property damage. The initial cause is under investigation, but the company suggests it may have been due to a technical issue or negligence during construction or maintenance work in the station area.
