Additionally, the number of injured has climbed to 167,524, with many in critical condition due to shortages of medical supplies and fuel needed to run hospitals.
Gaza health officials said the actual number could be significantly higher than official records, as an estimated 10,000 people remain missing beneath collapsed buildings and have not yet been included in the casualty lists. Rescue teams face major difficulties reaching sites due to ongoing fighting and a lack of specialized equipment.
Meanwhile, international humanitarian organizations have repeatedly urged restraint and called for safe corridors to deliver aid into Gaza. The United Nations has warned of the risk of a severe health and food crisis if the blockade continues, leaving hundreds of thousands of people—especially children and the elderly—without basic necessities.
