Shohei Ohtani hits home run upon return after birth of second child

Japanese baseball superstar Shohei Ohtani made a dramatic return to the Los Angeles Dodgers lineup just one day after missing a game for family reasons. He hit his 16th home run of the season in a 3-2 loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday.

Ohtani was given one game off to be with his wife during the birth of their second child. Back on the field the very next day, he immediately showcased his elite form with a powerful swing that sent the ball over the fence, scoring for the Dodgers.

Despite Ohtani's efforts, the Dodgers could not secure a win against the Orioles. Still, the Japanese hitter's performance was a bright spot in the lineup, further cementing his status as one of the most outstanding players in Major League Baseball (MLB).
