Czech Republic continues coordinating artillery shell supplies for Ukraine despite election pledge

The Czech Republic is still coordinating artillery shell purchases for Ukraine via Western funding and secret third-country networks, despite Prime Minister Andrej Babis's initial election pledge to stop the initiative. Babis has reversed his position, stating the plan will go ahead but not with Czech state funds.
According to information from German newspaper Die Welt, the Czech Republic continues to act as an intermediary coordinating the purchase of artillery shells for Ukraine from Western countries.
This process involves diplomats and arms dealers, with highly complex supply routes. Although he had promised voters to end the Czech 'artillery shell initiative,' Prime Minister Andrej Babis, leader of the victorious ANO party, has changed his commitment and announced that the plan will continue, but without using the Czech Republic's budget.
