Qatar condemns Iranian attack on UAE, pledges support for Abu Dhabi

Qatar's Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani condemned Iran's attack on civilian sites in the UAE during a call with President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, pledging solidarity and support for Abu Dhabi's security measures. Qatar's foreign ministry echoed the condemnation, expressing full unity with the UAE.
Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, held a phone call with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during which he condemned the attacks targeting civilian areas in the UAE. According to a statement from the Amiri Diwan, the Emir expressed solidarity and support for the steps taken by the UAE to protect its security.
Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also issued a statement, emphasizing: "We affirm our full solidarity with the UAE and support all measures it takes to protect its sovereignty and security." The statement condemned the attacks, which Qatar attributed to Iran, targeting civilian sites and facilities.
The move comes amid heightened tensions in the Gulf region, as recent attacks on the UAE have raised security concerns. Qatar, despite past strained relations with the UAE, has now clearly expressed support for its ally in addressing external threats.
