Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Tuesday that in high-level contacts with officials, the core message repeatedly emphasized by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is the importance of national unity. According to Pezeshkian, this is not just a political appeal but a strategic direction for the country to overcome external pressures.
Speaking before government officials, Pezeshkian stressed that maintaining internal consensus is a prerequisite for Iran to effectively confront international sanctions and pressures. He also noted that the Supreme Leader has frequently raised this topic in recent speeches and meetings, treating it as the foundation for all major national decisions.
These remarks come amid a complex set of economic and diplomatic challenges facing Iran.
