Pezeshkian: Enemy Relies on Internal Divisions to Pressure Iran

On August 20, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned of hostile schemes, stating that enemies are counting on internal divisions to pressure Iran into concessions.

Speaking at a meeting with senior officials, Pezeshkian emphasized: “The enemy calculates that if they can create discord within our ranks, they can force Iran to submit.” The Iranian president called on all domestic political, social, and religious forces to set aside differences to confront external challenges.

The Iranian leader also reiterated his government's commitment to protecting national interests and internal stability, asserting that Tehran will not be swayed by external divide-and-conquer campaigns. The statement comes as Iran faces mounting pressure from international sanctions and regional tensions.
