Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared that nationwide unity is the crucial factor rendering Iran invincible against all pressures, even as the economy faces numerous difficulties.
Speaking at a conference in Tehran, Pezeshkian emphasized that no matter how severe sanctions and economic fluctuations become, the solidarity between the government and the people creates an impenetrable inner strength. He stated: “If we stand together, no force can impose its will on Iran. The economy may be tough, but the national spirit is the sturdiest bulwark.”
The Iranian leader also called on authorities and the business community to enhance coordination to overcome the current period, stressing that investing in domestic production is a strategic path to reduce external dependence. He pledged that the government will continue administrative reforms and support citizens amid rising inflation and price pressures.
In recent months, Iran has faced high inflation, a depreciating national currency, and shortages of some essential goods. However, analysts suggest that Pezeshkian's remarks reflect an effort to bolster domestic confidence while sending a firm message to the international community about Tehran's resilience and steadfastness.
Experts note that emphasizing national unity is not merely symbolic but also a strategy to maintain socio-political stability, laying the groundwork for long-term economic policies while international negotiations remain unresolved.
