iPhone users in Vietnam may soon experience new AI features through Apple Intelligence, with language support including Vietnamese expected in 2025. This expansion brings tools like text summarization and image generation, requiring compatible devices like iPhone 15 Pro or later.
According to the latest information from Apple, iPhone users in Vietnam may soon be able to experience new artificial intelligence (AI) features within the Apple Intelligence ecosystem. The U.S. technology company is planning to expand language and regional support, with a rollout expected in 2025.
Apple Intelligence, first launched in the U.S. in late 2024, initially supported only English. However, Apple has confirmed it will add more languages, including Chinese, French, German, and Vietnamese. This means iPhone users in Vietnam can use AI tools such as content summarization, text rewriting, image generation from text descriptions (Image Playground), and custom emoji creation (Genmoji).
According to the disclosed roadmap, software updates will be released gradually throughout 2025. The iOS 18.4 version, expected in April 2025, may be the first update to bring support to the Vietnamese market. Users will need compatible devices such as iPhone 15 Pro or later, or Macs and iPads with Apple Silicon chips, to fully use the features.
Apple Intelligence is expected to change how users interact with devices, making daily tasks faster and more efficient. However, some features may be limited due to data and security regulations in each country. Apple says it will fully comply with local regulations before officially launching.
The arrival of Apple Intelligence in Vietnam not only opens new experiences for iPhone users but also intensifies competition with rivals like Google and Samsung in the mobile AI segment. Experts believe this is a strategic move by Apple to maintain its market share in Southeast Asia.
