Iran's Foreign Minister Stresses Responsible Follow-Up of Bilateral Ties with Portugal

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on December 2 issued a statement emphasizing the responsible follow-up of bilateral issues between Iran and Portugal.

Speaking during a meeting with his Portuguese counterpart in Lisbon, Araghchi said the two countries need to sustain exchanges and cooperation across various fields, while affirming that Tehran is ready to advance bilateral relations based on mutual interests.

According to Iran's Foreign Ministry, the meeting took place as part of Araghchi's European tour, which included talks focusing on regional and international issues.

The move is seen as part of Tehran's efforts to enhance dialogue with European countries amid the current geopolitical tensions.
