On May 11, Japanese memory chip maker Kioxia released its financial report for fiscal 2025 (ending March 2026), showing net profit doubled from fiscal 2024 to ¥554.5 billion (about $3.6 billion).

The growth was mainly fueled by robust demand for NAND flash memory products used in data centers and consumer electronics. Revenue in the period increased 42% year-on-year to over ¥2.1 trillion.
