Liverpool have sealed an agreement to sign French forward Bradley Barcola from Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain in a deal worth up to £123 million ($166 million), according to reports.
The BBC cited sources saying the Anfield club will pay an initial £106 million ($143 million), with add-ons that could push the total value up by £17 million ($23 million). The Athletic reported that the 23-year-old will sign a five-year contract.
Barcola joined PSG from his boyhood club Olympique Lyonnais in 2023 and enjoyed a highly successful spell in the French capital, winning two consecutive Champions League titles in 2024-25 and 2025-26, three Ligue 1 crowns, and two Coupe de France trophies.
The forward made 152 appearances in all competitions for PSG, scoring 39 goals and registering 37 assists. He still had two years left on his contract with the Parisian club.
Barcola is expected to be the latest signing under new head coach Andoni Iraola after Liverpool brought in Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo on loan, French centre-back Jeremy Jacquet, and Spanish forward Victor Munoz during the summer transfer window.
Liverpool's attack now features Alexander Isak – the record signing in English football – alongside Cody Gakpo, Rio Ngumoha, and Munoz as the Merseyside club adapts to life after Mohamed Salah's departure. Forward Hugo Ekitike is currently sidelined with a long-term injury.
