On May 3, Leningrad Governor Alexander Drozdenko said Russian air defense forces destroyed an additional eight drones in the area, bringing the total downed to 51.
On the social network Max, Drozdenko wrote: 'The number of drones shot down in the Leningrad region has risen to 51. Combat operations are ongoing.' Earlier, local authorities reported destroying 43 drones in previous attacks.
