An Israeli airstrike targeted a residential building on al-Thalatini Street in Gaza City early on December 7, killing at least five people, medical sources told the Wafa news agency.
Among the victims were a father and his two daughters. The mother was wounded and died later in the day. Several other people were injured.
Al Jazeera correspondent Tareq Abuo Azzum, reporting from Gaza, said: "This area did not receive any warning before the attacks. This is a grim reality that is becoming increasingly frequent."
Earlier on December 6, Israeli airstrikes hit a tent shelter for displaced people in the al-Mawasi area south of Khan Younis, wounding five people.
On the same day, Wafa reported heavy gunfire from Israeli naval vessels off Gaza's southern coast.
Since the US-brokered ceasefire in October, at least 1,007 people have been killed in Gaza and 3,165 wounded, according to local health authorities.
The total death toll in Gaza since the war began in October 2023 now stands at least 73,018.
Israel continues to restrict the entry of food, medical supplies, and shelter materials into Gaza, where about 2.2 million people face dire humanitarian needs. The Israeli military also remains in control of large areas of Gaza.
