The attack hit the Dahieh area, a densely populated residential district that also serves as a stronghold of the powerful Hezbollah militant group. A building was severely damaged, with rescue teams and medical personnel quickly arriving at the scene to evacuate and treat victims.
Witnesses reported hearing a large explosion followed by a plume of smoke rising from the targeted area. The Israeli military confirmed the strike, stating it targeted an Hezbollah weapons production facility and a nearby military building.
