Israeli Airstrike in Eastern Lebanon Kills at Least 14

At least 14 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting eastern Lebanon, local security officials and medical workers confirmed. They added that many others injured in the attack have been rushed to nearby hospitals for emergency treatment.

The strike occurred in a Hezbollah-controlled area. Israel has not issued an official comment on the incident, while Hezbollah vowed to respond accordingly.

This is one of the deadliest Israeli airstrikes on Lebanese territory since the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah reignited last October. The international community is calling for restraint from both sides to avoid further escalation of violence.
