Israeli strikes on June 11 killed at least four Palestinians, including a rescue worker, and wounded several others across the Gaza Strip.
According to a medical source, a volunteer rescue worker with the Palestinian Civil Defense was killed in an airstrike while on his way to help the wounded near Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahiya, in northern Gaza. The Civil Defense identified the victim as Mohamed Tamous.
In a separate incident, an Israeli drone strike in the city of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, killed Hisham Ibrahim Abu Mustafa, 60, and wounded several others, according to Nasser Hospital.
Also, according to Turkey's Anadolu news agency, citing medical sources, the body of a 17-year-old Palestinian was brought to Nasser Hospital after he was killed in an Israeli drone strike in the Qizan Abu Rashwan area, south of Khan Younis.
Another teenager died of wounds sustained last month, when Israeli forces opened fire east of Khan Younis. On the same day, a girl was wounded by Israeli gunfire targeting tents of displaced Palestinians in the Al-Amal neighborhood, according to Anadolu.
In Khan Younis, the Israeli military also carried out two demolitions in the northeast and east of the city. The military also destroyed areas east of the Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City.
According to sources, since launching its military campaign in Gaza following the Hamas-led attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, Israel has killed more than 74,245 Palestinians.
