Iran has issued a strong declaration that it will not hesitate to defend its legal rights at any negotiating table. The statement comes as Tehran engages in strategic discussions concerning national interests.
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson emphasized: “We will resolutely protect the legitimate rights and interests of the country, regardless of pressure or threats from other parties. Any negotiation must be based on mutual respect and leave no room for irrational interference.”
The declaration follows weeks of diplomatic tensions between Iran and several Western powers over its nuclear program and regional issues. Tehran has repeatedly stated that talks can succeed only if all parties respect sovereignty and refrain from imposing unrealistic preconditions.
In its latest message, Iran also called on the international community to promote fair dialogue and avoid unilateral coercive measures. The move is seen as an effort to reshape the negotiating space ahead of upcoming rounds of talks.
