Speaking at a regular press briefing, Kanaani stressed that the Iranian people expect Washington to take practical steps based on mutual respect and genuine goodwill. He said this is key to building trust and promoting future cooperation.
The Iranian official also noted that Tehran will judge the US by its actions, not just words. Iran is ready to respond positively to constructive moves from the US, but will also firmly defend its national interests against any coercive actions.
