Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi criticized the US approach for undermining diplomatic efforts, calling for dialogue based on mutual respect and international law. He urged the international community to oppose escalating actions and noted Iran's readiness to talk if the US changes its stance.
On April 17, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the US approach is undermining diplomatic efforts in the region. Speaking in Tehran, Araghchi emphasized that Washington has repeatedly taken actions and made statements contrary to the spirit of negotiations, making the diplomatic process between parties increasingly difficult.
According to Araghchi, the US strategy lacks consistency and frequently changes, creating instability in international relations. He called on the international community to speak out against provocative actions and support a peaceful solution based on international law and mutual respect.
The Iranian foreign minister also reaffirmed that Iran remains ready to engage in dialogue if the US changes its approach and respects the fundamental principles of national sovereignty. The statement comes amid continued high tensions between Tehran and Washington, despite mediation efforts by some intermediaries.
