Two women who died in an explosion at an Aeon shopping mall on August 3 were told by their employer to return inside the building just before the blast, according to investigative sources.
The incident occurred at a store in the shopping complex, killing two female employees. Investigators said that prior to the explosion, the employer directed the two to go back into the area to handle work, despite initial warnings about safety risks.
The explosion caused serious property damage and left several people injured. Authorities are continuing to determine the cause of the incident while also examining management's responsibility in ensuring the safety of employees and customers.
Aeon representatives have not yet issued an official comment on the information but said they will fully cooperate with investigators to clarify the case.
