Aid convoy to Gaza loses contact with vessel near Greek waters, fears interception
Middle East Eye
A humanitarian aid convoy to Gaza has lost contact with one of its ships about 95 nautical miles off Greece, suspecting possible interception. Participants reported military aircraft and a warship nearby, and called for international action against Israel's blockade.

A group within the aid convoy heading to Gaza broadcast a live video while traveling about 95 nautical miles off the Greek coast, stating they believe an interception may be imminent after losing contact with one of the vessels in the flotilla.
The convoy stated they are attempting to transport humanitarian aid to Gaza and draw international attention to the ongoing blockade and the humanitarian situation there, which they attribute to Israel's genocide.
Previous similar efforts have been blocked or illegally prevented from reaching Gaza, often by Israeli forces in international waters.
In the video, one participant reported observing helicopters flying overhead, a US military aircraft, numerous drones, and a warship believed to be operating with lights off.
They also said several vessels in the convoy had lost contact, which they believe may indicate electronic jamming or interference.
The group also called for global action, urging people to pressure companies and organizations worldwide to sever ties and stop supporting supply chains linked to Israel's genocidal activities.
