Iran's ambassador to the United Nations on April 2 denounced Western sanctions and military threats, asserting that both are tools of pressure against Tehran. Addressing the Security Council, he stated: "Sanctions and military threats are two sides of the same policy of pressure."
The Iranian diplomat stressed that Tehran will not yield to any form of pressure, warning that escalating sanctions and military actions will only heighten regional tensions. He called on the international community to condemn unilateral measures and promote dialogue.
The statement comes amid stalled negotiations on Iran's nuclear program, as the United States and its allies continue to maintain economic sanctions and military pressure on Tehran.
