Iran Police Chief Vows Revenge for Killing of Female Officer

On June 18, the head of Iran's National Police, General Ahmad-Reza Radan, vowed to avenge the death of a female police officer killed in an attack in Sistan-Baluchestan province, according to the IRNA news agency.

Speaking at the officer's funeral, General Radan stressed that the police force would not leave those responsible unpunished and would take appropriate retaliatory measures.
