Trump orders DOJ to investigate Democrats for ‘threatening’ people
US President Donald Trump has ordered the Department of Justice to investigate Democrats for allegedly 'threatening' people with impeachment and other punishments after their midterm election victory. In a Truth Social post, Trump claimed without evidence that Democrats' actions amounted to 'extortion at the highest level,' naming Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin. The order comes as Democrats prepare to take control of both chambers of Congress in January, with plans to probe the Trump family's finances, ICE, and cabinet officials.
