Indonesia names fourth wiretapping suspect as political intrigue deepens
Indonesian police named a fourth suspect, identified in local media as Slamet Uliandi, in an alleged wiretapping scandal targeting President Prabowo Subianto. Three senior officers, including former national police chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo, a known Joko Widodo loyalist, were arrested earlier in the week as the case deepens a rift between Prabowo and his predecessor. The scandal adds pressure on Prabowo amid public discontent over costly policies and weakening investor confidence, while lawmakers weigh a probe into Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka's eligibility.
