Singapore firm to launch startup hub in Japan with "Asian Davos" vision
Singapore-based venture capital firm Insignia Ventures Partners and Japan's Iwate prefectural government have agreed to set up an academy in northeastern Japan to cultivate startup talent from across Asia. Iwate expects classes to begin within a few years, with backers framing the project around an "Asian Davos" vision.
