US Senator Abdul El-Sayed launches ‘Habibi’ political action committee
Michigan Senator-elect Abdul El-Sayed has launched a leadership political action committee called "Habibi PAC", days after becoming the first Muslim elected to the US Senate. El-Sayed, who defeated Republican Mike Rogers, made getting money out of politics a central campaign pledge.
