Saudi coalition intercepts missile fired towards Medina
The Saudi-led coalition says it intercepted a ballistic missile fired by Yemen's Houthis towards the Medina region, minutes after Saudi civil defence warned of danger near the strategic port of Yanbu. The Houthis denied targeting Medina, saying their operations hit only oil facilities and military bases. Fighting also continued in Taiz governorate, where Yemen's internationally recognised government forces reported gains.
