Inside animate KOREA Busan’s New Mega Store—And It’s Huge
animate KOREA Busan, the South Korean branch of Japanese anime retailer animate, officially reopened on October 30, 2026, following its first major relocation and expansion since opening in January 2023. The upgraded mega store now occupies space inside Lotte Department Store Busan Main Branch, a major tourist-friendly complex a three-minute walk from Seomyeon Station. The opening day drew large crowds.
